Why would you buy a 175k miles Land Rover Discovery? Admittedly, that doesn't sound like a sane decision - UNLESS you knew this particular truck like we do. Then you too would know it looks, drives, and serves you better than many Discos with 50k less miles. That's partly because it was a well-maintained truck most of its life, but also very importantly we gave the engine new life with a thorough going-through that included new Elring composite head gaskets held firmly in place by the incomparable ARP chromoly head bolts (85lbs/ft!!). And, of course it got and ignition and cooling system update, including the critically important Inline Thermostat Conversion which results in 25 to 40 degree drop in operating temps from 215 to 185, even here in holt and humid Atlanta. It also received a new transmission at about 150k.
Of course, as a Southern truck it avoids the second-greatest killer of D2s- rust! It is especially user-friendly in that it is a 7-passenger with the rare but highly desirable separately controlled Rear AC system. And its set-up for off-road fun with 32" Nexen Roadian AT Pro8 tires set on a 2" Terrafirma lift kit and 30mm TF spacers. Steel front and rear bumpers provide muck better protection than stock and the winch-ready front bumper features a terrific array of high performance off-rod LED lamps (and we've also upgraded the headlights to LED).
Inside you'll find a great quality interior that features a 7" touchscreen with Bluetooth and back-up camera. We've gone through all the electrical and mechanical functions of the truck and everthing checks out okay. We'll eve back that with a 10-day, 300 mile money-back guarantee!!
